Michael R. Harrison

Managing Principal and Chief Executive Officer since 2004, Michael has extensive experience in negotiating major transactions with key oil and gas industry leaders nationally in most traditional U.S. basins in the E&P (Exploration & Production) sector.  As managing principal and co-founder of Harrison and Horlick, Inc., responsibilities include all senior management functions. Having invested over 10 years developing strategic alliances with Global Majors & Independent Oil & Gas Companies, Michael negotiates oil and gas contracts in exploration and production (E&P).  He s responsible for all refined petroleum product contracts that include D2, D6, Jet Fuels, & Crude Oil transactions for both domestic and international entities. Michael was introduced to the oil and gas industry while working for a major oil and gas corporate law firm in Houston, Texas. With a proven track record for delivering results and exceeding client expectations, he approaches the market with integrity and professionalism. Key to his approach is the on-going evaluation of market trends in most traditional U.S. basins and providing leadership to build appropriate teams to effectively handle project requirements.  


Robert C. Horlick

Managing Principal and Chief Operating Officer since 2004, Robert is co founder of Harrison and Horlick, Inc. He served in the armed forces with the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and is a decorated Combat Veteran. As a co-founder of Harrison and Horlick, Robert has successfully engaged in the negotiations of  domestic oil refinery acquisitions with  both domestic and foreign buying groups that include D2, D6, Jet Fuel and Crude Oil.  Respected as a dynamic business builder, hands-on leader, and creative solutions provider, Robert has consistently delivered impressive bottom-line results. Robert holds a Masters Degree from California State University at Long Beach and began his professional career with a  real estate firm in Orange County, California .Robert has been
recognized for significant achievements in project management and customer satisfaction.    


Lisa Y. Bakota

Managing Principal and Chief Financial Officer since 2004, Lisa has over 20 years of experience in corporate sales, marketing and business development with a proven track record of successful performance.  Managing several crucial areas of operations – business development, contracts and marketing, Lisa contributes to enterprise-level vision and strategy for Harrison and Horlick, Inc. Results driven, she has consistently demonstrated executive leadership ability and has been the recipient of numerous awards, accolades and recognition for over achievement for major Fortune 500 companies, including marketing awards for major contract wins.  She has consistently demonstrated an ability to overcome complex business challenges within fast-paced, high pressure environments. 

Lisa has extensive experience in contract negotiations, development and securing commercial partner agreements.  Lisa holds a California Real Estate Brokers License, Series 63, Series 65 Investment Advisory license completion, B.A from the University of California at Los Angeles and MBA from California State University at Los Angeles.  After graduation, she was recruited by Xerox Corporation where she began her formal introduction to the world of business. She resides in Southern California with her husband and three sons.

Jeremy Dickens, Director of Diesel Transactions and Business  Development 

Jeremy Dickens serves as the Director of Diesel Transactions and Business Development for Harrison and Horlick. Before opening his own trading firm he was the Director of Natural Resource for Redstone Natural Resources in Houston, Texas where his primary role deals with flow management, lead intake and specifics, new providers and clients, opportunity vetting. Jeremy's biggest asset is being able to grow his network of verified buyers in this sector, while managing and training his 15+ representative sales team. 

Co-Founder and President of H2Oxidation, his role focused on creating and implementing the company's long-term strategies and forming strategic partnerships. Before this, he was the founder of Austin Green Team, a local energy efficiency company authorized by Austin Energy in the National Rebate program. Jeremy has a Bachelor's of Finance and Accounting from Texas State University.
